Week 17 Injuries: Cardinals lose their RB

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson was injured when he took a handoff from Palmer and ran left for a 3-yard loss. on Sunday, but on the play, he twisted his left knee when he was brought down by a swarm of Rams defenders.

Johnson's 44 all-purpose yards finished short of a 16th straight game with at least 100 yards from scrimmage in a season, which would’ve been a record.

McGloin injured at QB for Raiders: Oakland Raiders QB Matt McGloin, who's replacing the injured Derek Carr at quarterback, took a big hit from Jared Crick in the second quarter. Trainers examined his left (non-throwing) shoulder on the sideline before taking him to the locker room. McGloin did not return to the game, and rookie Connor Cook replaced him in the lineup as Carr is sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Berry injures heel: The Kansas City Chiefs announced a heel injury for safety Eric Berry with 3 minutes remaining in the third quarter. It wasn't immediately clear when the injury occurred; the last time the Chiefs' defense was on the field was late in the first half. The All-Pro did not come back into return.

Dolphins lose Ajayi: Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi took his last carry of the game with 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The team did not announce an injury, but multiple reports after the game said the running back went to the X-ray room after the game. Ajayi was questionable entering Week 17 with a shoulder injury.
