Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas suffered a left lower leg fracture when he collided with teammate Kam Chancellor while going up for an interception in the first half.
The All-Pro safety tried to walk off the field under his own power, but was unable to do so. Seahawks personnel carried him off the field so that he didn't have to put any weight on his leg before carting him to the locker room.
Coach Pete Carroll called Thomas' injury a six-week deal at least, but ESPN says that teammates spoke like Thomas' season was over after the game.
Pierre-Paul injured vs. Steelers: New York Giants DL Jason Pierre-Paul walked slowly off the field and to the locker room late in the second quarter with a groin injury.
The team ruled him out at the start of the second half. Pierre-Paul had seven tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble returned for a touchdown in Week 12.
Top WR Julio Jones in and out: Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones was in and out of the lineup late in the game with what coach Dan Quinn called "a lower-body injury."
Jones, who was noticeably hobbled on the sideline, said, "I'm OK. I'm good to go."
The star WR has played through many of injuries this season, including a hurt shoulder last week. He is yet to not start a game in 2016.
Brady loses another target: New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola hopped off the field after a punt return in the second half and went to the locker room with an ankle injury.
He had three catches for 30 yards when he left the game, and he did not return.
Other Key Injuries: Mohamed Sanu (WR, ATL), Jake Matthews (LT, ATL), Eric Rowe (CB, NE), EJ Gaines (CB, LA), Cecil Shorts III (WR, TB), Braxton Miller (WR, HOU)
