Week 12 Injuries: Gronk, Carr face injuries

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski left Sunday's game against the Jets in the first quarter because of a back injury and was eventually ruled out.

ESPN Patriots reporter Mike Reiss had charted Gronkowski as playing seven of 12 offensive snaps before going to the locker room.

The TE started on Sunday after missing the Patriots' Week 11 game because of a chest injury. He was initially injured in Week 10 against the Seahawks.

Gronkowski did not return from the locker room to start the second half.

Carr injures finger: Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr appeared to sustain an injury to his right pinkie finger (throwing hand) on a fumbled snap exchange at the beginning of the second half.

Carr immediately ran off the field to get evaluated and eventually went to the locker room.

Backup Matt McGloin replaced him for one series, before Carr returned to the game with a glove on his throwing hand.

Other Key Injuries: Danny Trevathan (ILB, CHI), Lamar Miller (RB, HOU), Ronald Darby (CB, BUF), Allen Hurns  (WR, JAX), John Brown (WR, ARI).
